'Not Until You Bless Me'
Saturday 2nd May 2015
Jacob through deception not only taking his brother's birthright but he goes on to steal his blessing, finds out that he had to run for his life down to his uncle's home. For almost 21 years he looked over his shoulder for his brother Esau who seeked to kill him. The Lord spoke and told him to return home. After meeting and wrestling with an angel until the break of day, meeting God face to face all his anxieties and fears was subsided when his brother bows down and kisses him.
A blessing is in store for anyone who is prepared to face their deepest fears, in doing so one must be obedient to the voice of God, understand their struggle, be determined to fight for and to hold on to their blessings even till the break of their day. Their character must change this may mean a change of name also. Not until we meet God will we receive the maximum blessing God has in store.
Our church motto is ‘prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it’ - Malachi 3:10. I believe that souls were richly blessed many were delivered and the healing power of God was in the room and souls were saved for the Kingdom.
